Artist's Description
While strolling the back alleys of Venice a few years ago (listening to Andrea Bocelli on my iPod), I poked my head into a little courtyard. It was small, very peaceful, and not a soul was around. I went to the corner and found this staircase, and just loved the colors and how the sun through the window above was illuminating the very old wall. I so wanted to climb the stairs to see what else I could find, but I decided to be happy with what I'd already seen, and the photos I was able to take.
